Simon Annan recognised as Supply Chain Personality of the Week

The Supply Chain Magazine has named Simon Annan, President of Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply as its Supply Chain Personality of the Week.

Simon Annan studies for his doctorate at Cranfield University, UK, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK. He has worked in Procurement and Supply Chain Management for over twenty-one years.

Simon now works as the Procurement Consultant for the Public Financial Management Reform Project (PFMRP) under the Ministry of Finance, a project funded by the World Bank. He is also the founder and CEO of SourceOne Management Services Limited.

In Ghana, Simon leads in project, procurement, and supply chain management. He raises awareness and advocates for the field, organizing Pan African Procurement and Supply Chain events. He was the Director of Membership for the Institute of Project Management Professionals Ghana, the President of CIPS Ghana, and a member of the CIPS Africa Congress.

Simon is passionate about Procurement and Supply Chain. He has held senior roles as Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Management in several organizations.Simon holds an MBA in Strategic and Project Management from the Paris Graduate School of Management, France.

He has professional diplomas from CIPS, is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT), UK, and is a certified Project Management Consultant and Fellow from the Institute of Project Management Professionals, Ghana. He is also a Fellow of the Ghana Institute of Procurement and Supply.

Supply Chain Personality of the Week is a weekly recognition that highlight individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of procurement and supply chain management. These personalities are recognized for their leadership, innovative strategies, successful project implementations, and their influence on industry trends.
